Due Proportion

Due Proportion is the use of only means necessary to achieve their objectives. To begin with the U.S. used 3 times more bombs than in World War 2 and dropped nearly 400,000 tons of napalm on Vietnam. During that time Nixon was also contemplating the use of nukes on Vietnam which would not have been necessary along with the amount of bombing. The U.S. army had no mercy when it came to civilians who were innocent, they would rape them, gun them down in ditches, use their bayonets to stab and execute them. So once again this was not a just war.
