Right Intention

Right Intention is when the resons for declaring the war must actually be the objectives, not a masking of ulterior motives. The U.S didn't have the right intention going into Vietnam; their objective was to stop the spread of communism but communism in South Vietnam wouldn’t have affected the U.S. The end result was that communism spread throughout Vietnam and neighboring countries. They also didn't want their domination of the worlds ecomony to change. They thought that if communism was far more powerful they would use imperialism. Their intentions were not right only selfish and it caused mass destruction in vietnam.
